Dr. Joseph Ricotta is a nationally and internationally renowned expert in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery. He brings years of valuable experience working at the nation’s leading institutions such as Yale, Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, and Cleveland Clinic to his role as Regional Medical Director of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy. Dr. Ricotta is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery and specializes in endovascular robotic surgery, aortic and peripheral aneurysms, carotid and cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease. Dr. Ricotta has opened an office in Delray Beach and is on staff at Delray Medical Center.
Dr. Ricotta at Delray Medical Center is the first in the southeast United States to use a vascular robot known as “Magellan” to perform surgery, according to hospital officials.
